Meet Pastor Ryan
My name is Ryan Schreckenghaust and I’m the Lead Pastor at The Summit Church. Lee’s Summit is my hometown and I love connecting with people to tell them about who Jesus is.
I am a graduate of William Jewell College and, after changing my major countless times, felt God’s nudge to invest my life in the work of the local church. I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Psychology. I then attended Rockbridge Seminary where I earned the Master of Ministry Leadership and the Master of Divinity degrees. I was licensed to the Gospel Ministry in 2003 and ordained as a Pastor/Elder in 2013.
I love spending time with my wife, Rebekah, and kids, Jackson and Camden!
Good Friday Service in Lee’s SUmmit
On Friday, April 3 at 6:30pm at The Summit Church join us for a Good Friday service. During this service in the Worship Center we'll take time to remember the events leading up to Jesus' death and the great sacrifice He made for us. Childcare will be available with the link below.
Easter at The Summit Church in Lee’s Summit, Missouri is one of the most meaningful opportunities of the year to celebrate the hope of Jesus and invite our local community to experience new life through Him.
Join us for a reflective Good Friday service on April 3 at 6:30pm, as we remember the cross and prepare our hearts for Easter. On Saturday, April 4, families from Lee’s Summit and surrounding communities are invited to a fun-filled afternoon with a Family Fun Event from 3–4pm, followed by an Easter worship service at 4pm with Summit Kids programming, and a Helicopter Easter Egg Drop at 5:15pm.
On Easter Sunday, April 5, we’ll gather for a 6:30am Sunrise Service on the South Lawn, an 8am Chapel Service, and 9am and 10:30am Easter services in the Worship Center with Summit Kids programming available. Summit Kids provides age-appropriate teaching about Jesus, games, crafts, and more.
Our leaders and volunteers are background-checked so Summit Kids is the safest place for your child to enjoy and learn more about Jesus.
