Made For This | Weekend Conference
If you've ever wondered what kids and students experience each summer at camp, it's time to mark your calendar. This fall, we're hosting a conference you need to rediscover fun, deepen relationships and encounter God. We believe you were made for a life walking with God through every season and when you do, you will win at life, marriage, relationships, work and faith.
That's why we're hosting a weekend event called Made For This, designed for adults to set aside the busyness and stress of life. It's a time for you to engage with God through teaching, learn practical tips for every stage of life through breakout sessions, and meet some other people who may encourage you along the way.

Leadership Nominations
Each year at our All Church Conference, we elect leaders to provide valuable insight across church ministries. Leaders are chosen from the church body to represent the congregation on our Finance, Property, and Personnel Committees.
As part of the discernment process, the Nominating Committee asks that you give thoughtful and prayerful consideration to people you might know who are gifted to serve in these ways. Meetings for the following committees take place on a regular schedule on Monday evenings.
Personnel Committee - The committee is responsible for providing guidance for employee policies, compensation, and benefits, legal compliance, performance and management and staff training for The Summit Church.
Property Committee - The Property Committee is responsible for oversight and care of all real and personal property owned by The Summit Church, in support of its mission and ministries. Additionally, the Property Committee protects the church through overseeing insurance, workers' compensation, and risk mitigation.
Finance Committee - The Finance Committee is responsible for recommending a budget and overseeing the expenditure of the financial resources of the congregation to support and strengthen the mission and ministry of the congregation. Approval of this team is required to enter into financial agreements and to sign loan documents. Upon Finance Committee approval, a recommendation will be made to the Church Council to enter into agreements.
If you know a member of the church who has a gift of leadership in one of these areas, you can nominate them by completing this form. Nominations are due by October 5, 2025.
If you have questions, please contact a member of the Nominating Committee.
